MINI’S TAP FEST

Dancers will be introduced to the world of TAP DANCE! Through body percussion, musical rhythm concepts, and crafts, come to discover the joys of this fabulous American dance form. The workshop will be held July 8th-12th from 9am to 12pm, with a showcase on the last day, Friday July 12th.

YOUTH TAP FEST
JULY 8-12, 2024

This workshop offers dancers the opportunity to take it to the next level in their tap dancing journey! Dancers must have some tap experience to participate. Students will deepen their tap technique with continued concepts of rhythm, musicality, and percussion. We will also participate in a craft, and a brief history lesson on this classic American dance form. The workshop takes place Monday, July 8th through Friday, July 12th from 1pm to 4pm, with a showcase on Friday, July 12th.

DISCOVER DANCE CAMP
JULY 15-19, 2024
9:00am-12:00pm
It’s time to discover dance! Dancers will get introduced to many styles of dance including ballet, tap, modern, and jazz. We will explore movement concepts while playing games, improvising, reading stories, playing instruments, and finding the rhythm in different types of music. We will also do a simple craft, and have time for a snack lunch. The non-stop fun will run daily from Monday, July 15th through Friday, July 19th, from 9am to 12pm, with a showcase on the 19th.

HERO’S JOURNEY DANCE CAMP
JULY 15-19, 2024
9:00am-12:00pm
Dancers ages 5-7 will get to be the hero of their own epic dance story by the end of this camp. Through creative collaboration, dancers will expand movement vocabulary and technique, learn choreography, and create their own dances. In addition to choreography and technique in ballet modern, jazz, and tap, dancers will also use props, play games, and do a craft. The “Journey” will begin Monday, July 15th, and run daily through Friday, July 19th from 1pm to 4pm, with a showcase on the19th.
