While VAM does not offer on-site parking, a U-Park pay-to-park lot is conveniently located adjacent to our building. Additionally, free 2-hour parking is available along N 35th Street. Please note that on the eastbound (South side) section of N 35th Street, from Fremont Ave to AB Earnst Park, parking is metered. However, ample 2-hour parking is available further along N 35th Street, past Troll Ave. Please double check the posted parking signs.
If you are a youth or a teen yes you have to pay for the full semester. If you are an adult you do not.
Our programs offer a consistent semester format for youth and teens, and a flexible, drop-in model for adults. Our Youth and Teen classes run on a semester schedule, with tuition payable either in full at a discounted rate or in four installments. (Tuition breakdown and policies on the youth classes or teen classes page.) Our Adult Program is drop-in based, you can join any class you choose, whenever it works for you. Adults can purchase individual drop-in classes or class cards, which provide access to any adult class regardless of style or level. Please note that class cards expire 90 days from the date of purchase.
If you or your child is a tuition student (Teens, Youths, and Mini’s), please email info@vamstudios.net with any absences and plans for make-ups. If it is a last minute absence you are welcome to call us, (206) 826-0776.
If you are an adult, you can cancel yourself from class by going into your mindbody account and then your schedule. You can cancel your registration for class up to the start of class. If you do not cancel your registration for class and you miss class you will be charged for the class.
Make-Ups are available to any tuition student (Teens, Youths, and Mini’s) or for Adults who are taking a course. All make-up classes must be taken within 30 days after the missed class. Adults in drop-in classes are not eligible for make-ups. Go to the section above to see how to un-register yourself from class.
For tuition students (Teens, Youths, and Minis) any class in the same age range of the missed class can be used as a make up. Please contact the front desk for approval of your make-up. Please email the front desk (info@vamstudios.net) 48 hours in advance of the class you plan to make-up in for approval.

Yes, VAM Studios offers Video On Demand, which gives students access to weekly class recordings of adult classes to practice with! The fee for the service is $20 for 30 days of viewing. You can sign up every 30 days or whenever you want extra help remembering and practicing your class material. Sometimes Mindbody glitches and doesn’t allow you to purchase Video On Demand. You can purchase any class card or single class as a gift. These items typically expire 90 days after purchase, but we will set the start of the 90-day period as the day you gift your purchase. If this is a winter holiday gift we will set the start of the 90-day period as the day we resume classes after the break.

To ensure we correctly track who purchased the gift and who will use it, VAM Staff must process your payment. Please do not purchase the gift online.
You do not need to be a current VAM student, and you do not need to give the gift to a current VAM student.
To purchase a gift, contact us via phone, email or in person. You will need to provide the following details:
- Your name, phone number, and credit card information.
- If the recipient is a current VAM student, we only need their name.
- If the recipient is not a current VAM student, we need their name and phone number or email.
We will create an account for the recipient if they don’t already have one. No notification will be sent asking them to create an account, so the gift will remain a surprise. When the recipient sets up their account, the gift will be available to them.
Construction will not be happening in front of VAM, but a few bus stops have moved to our street, 35th. Because of this, there is less parking on 35th, so please plan extra time for traffic and parking. For more info please visit the project web page.
Tuition classes (Teens, Youth, Minis) will be emailed with any planned or last minute cancellations.
The Adult classes will be canceled in mindbody. If you were already signed up for a class and it gets canceled we will email or call to notify you and put your class back on your class card.
