Our Adult Program is all about flexibility and fun! With our drop-in based structure, you can join any class you choose, whenever it works for you. Whether you’re up for a challenge or want to revisit the basics, our open structure lets you move between levels at your own pace. Our classes blend technique with choreography, giving you the perfect mix of skill-building and creative expression. You’ll refine your moves, explore exciting routines, and have a blast in a supportive, self-paced environment! If you’re unsure where to start, we’re always happy to recommend a class for you!

VAM VIDEO ON DEMAND SERVICE
We are excited to offer VAM Video On Demand, which gives students access to weekly class recordings to practice with! The fee for the service is $20 for 30 days of viewing. You can sign up every 30 days or whenever you want extra help remembering and practicing your class material. Ask your teacher to find out if your class recording is accessible through the Video On Demand service. Click the link below to sign up.


BEGINNING BALLET BASIC
This course is for individuals with no prior dance experience who want to learn ballet. You will learn the fundamental ballet positions, techniques, steps, and musicality, and gain the ability to assemble simple ballet combinations. The class environment is safe and encouraging and designed to help each dancer get started on a lifelong journey filled with the love of dance!
July – August: 6 WEEK COURSE:
MONDAYS: July 6, 2026 – August 10, 2026 – 7:30pm – 8:30pm

ADULT CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Intro Beg
This class is designed for students with little or no tap experience. Basic tap steps will be introduced such as shuffles, flaps, and cramp rolls, building a foundation for combinations of steps. Emphasis is placed on an exploration of rhythm and musicality with opportunities for creativity intertwined.
Beg 2
For students with some tap experience. Basic steps and terminology are elaborated upon while fundamentals are reinforced in a structured and nurturing environment. Dancers will expand their skills with combinations of steps and move at a slightly faster pace. Improvisational work is explored, as well.
Int 1
This class is designed for beginning/intermediate tap dancers comfortable with basics mentioned above as well as a foundational understanding of music theory in order to begin to expand skills. Proper technique and terminology continue to be emphasized. This class begins to move at a faster pace.
Int 2
For the intermediate dancer. This is a moderately challenging class that moves at a faster pace and offers a more in-depth study of tap fundamentals, with combinations becoming longer and slightly more complex. Improvisational work continues to be intertwined.
Int 3
This class is for dancers with several years of tap training and a strong foundational understanding of skills and steps who are ready to move at a faster pace. Students explore musicality with more depth, and continue to grow improvisational skills.
Adv
For advanced students with several years of tap training. Dancers explore music in greater depth, including polyrhythms. Combinations become longer and more complex, advanced techniques are improved upon, and students should be comfortable with a fast-paced class.
Adv Pro
A fast-paced, challenging class for dancers with advanced technical proficiency beyond Tap Adv and a sense of artistry. Dancers should be very comfortable with tap technique and ready to move quickly. This class relies on the self-awareness of each dancer and their ability to work both independently and with a greater group.
Beginning Ballet Basic Course
This course is for individuals with no prior dance experience who want to learn ballet. You will learn the fundamental ballet positions, techniques, steps, and musicality, and gain the ability to assemble simple ballet combinations. The class environment is safe and encouraging and designed to help each dancer get started on a lifelong journey filled with the love of dance!
Ballet 1-2
For beginning dancers with at least a year of experience. Basic steps and terminology are elaborated upon while fundamentals continue to be reinforced in a structured and nurturing environment.
Ballet 2-3
Foundations from Ballet 1 and 2 continue to be built upon in this class for dancers beginning to approach the intermediate level. Proper alignment and use of musculature are stressed and students begin to prepare for pointe work.
Ballet 3
For Intermediate dancers who have a strong foundation in Ballet technique and alignment. Combinations will begin to quicken as dancers prepare for Pointe (for those interested).
Ballet 4
For intermediate dancers with several years of experience. Students should have a solid technical foundation as combinations of movement become more complex. Pointe work is introduced for interested students.
Ballet 4-5
This class is designed for students with multiple years of training, including at least a year of experience at the intermediate level. Dancers will continue to build upon their technique as they become stronger, including in pointe work.
Ballet 5-6
For advanced dancers with a strong technical foundation. Dancers at this level have an understanding of proper alignment, use of musculature, and ballet terminology, allowing them to explore advanced techniques and combinations of movements.
Good Morning Me
A stretch and conditioning class designed to provide a great start to your day! Begin with a gentle wake-up and progress through a variety of strengthening and lengthening movements, including both somatic and Pilates-based exercises. Aside from getting you going in the morning, this class is also great cross training for your tap, ballet, and other dance classes!
